After 100 years I think that the possibility of this book being read is really big. People usually don't forget the beginning of important things, as the author mentioned in this book Malcolm X was the first man who made the revolution of black Americans wake up through his speeches and ideas. That happened almost at the last chapters when he become a very famous leader. Also I believe that 60's is time of century that the Americans would always commemorate, it was the time were their people get their rights after a long period of suffering. This book is one of the greatest documents of that time, people will always back to the book where they can see the true color of so many people and events.People also don't forget the death of important leaders through history specially if it was a murder. That happened to Malcolm when he was shot a 6 bullets while he was doing his speech. people didn't forget Julius Caesar , They didn't forget John Kennedy and they probably won't forget Malcolm X.

Book Recommendation

Dear Najma,
Since you already recommended to me the book that you read,
which seems interesting by the way, I would also like to recommend to you
this great book that I just finished reading it. You already know how I
have always admired Malcolm X characteristic and nothing
could reveal the interesting character he had more than his dairy. "The
Autobiography Of Malcolm X As Told to Alex Haley" is one of the
greatest book that I have ever read. The book in general talks about Malcolm X
and what made the great leader that he was. It start with an interesting
chapter called "Nightmare", the first 5 chapters talks about his
childhood and how it wasn't a regular one. These chapters tell us that being a
black kid during that time of century wasn't an easy thing at all, suffering in
life because of who you are and trying to escape from your identity
something that those black kids would handle all their lives. In the middle
chapters the author tells us how this black kid grow up to be a hard working
young man. He had to work all the different kinds of jobs that black people
worked at that time. From cleaning shoos to being a waitress and finally
dancing in night clubs! All these jobs grow the feeling in those black young
men that they are less than the weight man. After that Malcolm tells us about
how he was dragged to alcohol and drugs like the most of the black people at
that time, then he started to steal stuff without fear which made him
finally caught by police and then be in prison for ten years and you can
say that that this was the turning point in his life. He met a man who opened
his eyes and encourage him to fill his mind with knowldge.Malcolm started
reading books nonstop and I have always remembered his quote" People don't
realize how a one book can change a man's whole life". The funny thing is
that I always felt that Malcolm experienced freedom for the first time in his
life when he was in prison! The interesting things keeps happening to him , he
hear about something called Islam and then he start to believe that Islam is the
solution for the racism . I don't want to spoil things on you anymore. What
will happen to him? And how he become very famous very fast? How his speeches
and ideas are going to change the whole nations ? Most important thing is how
he turn up to be the man he was? You should figure out the answers by yourself
and read this book that I'm sure you won't regret it. All I can say that you
will definitely know at that time why I have always admired this person. Who
knows maybe you will fell in love with him like I did!
